- Shades of Shetland is my personal on-line diary of my adventures in knitting. I will wander off the path to talk about books I've read, movies I've watched, my pets, but mostly it will be about knitting. I absolutely love Jamieson's Shetland yarns. 100% Shetland wool*, processed entirely on the isles, what's not to love. My favourite form of knitting is stranded multi-colour work. I have occasionally produced a design I felt worthy of publishing, and hope to again. I still have many design ideas floating around...it's just the time to actually get one done that is the problem LOL! *All of the Jamieson's yarns are 100% Shetland, except for their Ultra Lace Weight yarn which is a 50/50 blend of Shetland and lambswool (not Shetland).
